Visia Skin Analysis
At Sublime MediSpa, we use the VISIA™ Skin Analysis to get accurate and objective evaluations of your skin. This imaging technology is fast, easy-to-understand, and offers a fully customized report for your skincare treatment. It also provides you with photos from before and after your treatment so that you can tangibly see the results of your treatment. But you won’t only see the difference — you’ll feel it, too.
What Is the VISIA™ Skin Analysis?
The VISIA™ Complexion Analysis began as a research tool for analyzing skin and skincare needs. Recently, it became available for public use and Sublime MediSpa is proud to leverage this technology in our clinic.
This unique system quickly captures eight key characteristics to assess your skin: Wrinkles, spots, pores, texture, porphyrins, uv spots and brown spots
Part Of The Consultation Process
Once we complete the analysis, our medical aestheticians will walk you through the report. In it, there will be information about your skin’s appearance, your complexion, and your skin’s health. It will also note potential problems you may face in the future and our medical aestheticians will help you determine what the best treatment is to get your desired results. This report belongs to you and you can take it home with you.

It starts with a quick VISIA™ Complexion Analysis.
Imaging process, during which the machine will take several photographs of your face. Almost immediately, you get to see results, with percentile scores for VISIA™ Complexion Analysis’ 8 key focuses. Our experts will discuss your skin issues and needs with you before making recommendations on treatment options to help you get the results you need.
What Does This Analysis Do?
VISIA™ Complexion Analysis will allow your medical aesthetician at Sublime MediSpa to measure your skin’s health accurately. It will assess the amount of damage to your skin by capturing information about the following areas, which reflect the state of your skin’s health and appearance.
Wrinkles
Age Unveiled: VISIA™ Analysis”
These natural marks of aging show up on the skin and can appear subtle at first, but often grow. VISIA™ Complexion Analysis shows the depth of these creases. Lighter green lines are finer wrinkles and darker green are deeper creases.
Spots
Recommending Treatment
Brown or red marks can be caused by freckles, acne scarring, vascular lesions or hyperpigmentation. Using VISIA™ Complexion Analysis, the medical aesthetician at Sublime MediSpa can recommend treatment based on the location, size, and color of the spots.
Pores
Treatment Analysis
Pores are the openings for sweat and oil ducts which can become clogged with dirt and oil, leading to acne. VISIA™ Complexion Analysis is able to distinguish clusters of pores through the analysis which may indicate oily, breakout-prone skin.
Texture
Indents, like fine lines, are indicated in blue and raised areas, like pimples and dead cells, are shown in yellow.
Porphyrins
The porphyrin score
Porphyrins are essentially the natural bacteria living in the oil glands. They can become caught in pores and may eventually lead to acne. The porphyrin score may vary from one person to another. Having some natural level of bacteria is normal.
UV spots
UV spots are caused by sun damage. They occur due to an accumulation of melanin below the surface of the skin. Although these spots are often undetectable in normal lighting, they need proper treatment. VISIA™ Complexion Analysis can accurately map UV spots to ensure proper care of the areas of your skin with greatest sun damage.
Brown spots
Pinpointing the location
Freckles, age spots, and moles can lead to an irregular and unpleasant texture visible on the skin’s surface. They are caused by increased melanin production. VISIA™ Complexion Analysis pinpoints the location and size of these spots to prescribe a treatment designed to break up the extra melanin deposits.
Red Areas
