What to Expect after Vein Removal Treatment
After treatment, most spider veins disappear immediately. Some vessels may seem darker or have a cat scratch in appearance. You may also experience some vessel inflammation in the treated area which will reduce and disappear shortly after few hours. This is normal. It may take 4-8 weeks for your body’s healing process to complete. You should avoid direct sun exposure after treatment and avoid aspirin or any other blood thinning medication. Usually 2-3 treatments are required to clear spider veins. Some areas will clear after one single treatment.
